Butterfly Numbers 1 to 10

This butterfly number matching resource for the numbers 1 to 10 makes a great math activity for preschool or kindergarten aged children.

This fun, hands-on activity consists of 10 colourful butterfly picture cards (each with a number from 1 to 10) as well as 4 sets of number cards.

To complete the activity, match the correct number cards to each butterfly. For each butterfly, place the correct number cards on the 4 circles on the butterfly's wings.

The four sets of number cards show the numbers 1 to 10 in word form, as a ten frame, as a tally and also as a number of objects shown in scattered configuration.

This math activity is great for practising number recognition and counting skills and your child is sure to love the cheery butterfly pictures!  If being used in the classroom, this makes a great spring or summer-themed math center.
