Place Value Cut and Paste Workseets (TENS and ONES)

Help your child work on place value with this set of 10 cut and paste worksheets.

These worksheets focus on tens and ones and are designed for grade 1 aged children.

In these worksheets, tens and ones are represented in three different ways: as numbers (e.g. 23), in words (e.g. 2 tens and 3 ones) and as base ten blocks.

All you need to complete these activities is scissors and glue!

Here is a breakdown of the 10 different activity sheets:

• Activity 1 – Matching base ten block pictures to numbers 11 - 20 (10 cards to cut and paste).

• Activity 2 – Matching base ten block pictures to numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 (10 cards to cut and paste).

• Activity 3 – Matching base ten block pictures to word cards (e.g. 3 tens and 9 ones) (10 cards to cut and paste).

• Activity 4 - Matching description (e.g. 3 tens and 4 ones) to the correct number card (10 cards to cut and paste).

• Activity 5 – Comparing two numbers shown in base ten blocks using the symbols >, < and = (6 cards to cut and paste).
  

• Activity 6 - Comparing two numbers, one shown in base ten blocks and one in number form using the symbols >, < and = (6 cards to cut and paste).

• Activity 7 - Comparing two numbers, one shown in word form (e.g. 8 tens and 1 one) and one in number form using the symbols >, < and = (6 cards to cut and paste).  
  

• Activity 8 - Comparing two numbers using the symbols >, < and = (6 cards to cut and paste).

• Activity 9 - Comparing two numbers, shown in either word form, number form or base ten blocks, using the symbols >, < and = (6 cards to cut and paste).

• Activity 10 - Matching together pairs of 2 digit numbers of equal value shown in either word form, number form or base ten blocks (6 cards to cut and paste).
