The activities in this pack are divided into six sections:
1) Numbers and Counting: 0 to 10
- Build number sense with numbers to 10.
- Practise writing, identifying and ordering numbers.
- Count up to 10 objects, arranged in different ways.
- Explore numbers shown in a variety of ways: as numerals, words, ten frames, objects and tally marks.
2) Numbers and Counting: 11 to 20
- Build number sense with numbers 11 to 20.
- Practise writing, identifying and ordering numbers.
- Count objects up to 20, arranged in different ways.
- Explore numbers shown as numerals, twenty frames, objects and words.
3) Counting to 100, by 1 and 10
- Count to 100.
- Count by 10s, up to 100.
4) Comparing Numbers
- Compare numbers up to 10 shown as numerals.
- Compare two or three groups of objects using vocabulary such as more, less, most and fewest.
- Compare numbers using the greater than, less than and equal symbols.
5) Addition
- Add within 10 using pictures and number sentences.
6) Subtraction
- Subtract within 10, using pictures and number sentences.
