Skip Counting Hearts (math craft)

Practise skip counting patterns this Valentine's Day with this fun heart-themed math craft!

These skip counting hearts make a nice activity for children just getting started with skip counting or a creative way to revise the topic.

In this resource the same heart-themed activity is available for skip counting by 2, 10, 5, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9. (If you are using this with a class of children, differentiation is easy as all students can be working on different times tables whilst completing the same activity!)

For each skip counting pattern there are two pages to print - a large heart picture and also a page of small numbered hearts. To complete the craft, simply cut out and glue the numbers in skip counting order onto the large heart picture. Then cut out the heart and colour it in!

The finished heart crafts look great on display and will make a fun border for your math bulletin board, especially around Valentine's Day.
